This 6 hour Career Seeker workshop will include:

• Assessment of your Interests. Do you know what activities and subjects interest you most? Do you know what types of work these relate to? Find out at this workshop.
• Assessment of your Values. Do you know what it is that motivates you to get up and go to work each day? What things are most important to you? How you approach the work environment with your unique temperaments? Find out at this workshop.
• Assessment of your Aptitudes. Do you know what you do best? School tends to focus on what we don’t do well and tries to increase that Aptitude. Here we look at your natural abilities and focus on using those in your work. This way you can not help but succeed. You will be doing what comes naturally to you. Find out at this workshop.
• Exercises to discover your work preferences. Do you like wearing a uniform? Do you prefer an office or would you rather work outdoors? Find out your work environment preferences at this workshop.
• Match your profile to specific occupations. Do you know which jobs in our current labor market make the most of your interests, values and aptitudes? Find out at this workshop.
• Learn more about the jobs that are a custom fit for you. Do you know how much your match-jobs pay? Whether they are abundant or not? What the educational requirements of your chosen work are?

This workshop is content rich and absolutely packed with tons of information. Don’t expect to walk out the door with all the answers (although some folks do). Be prepared to let this information sink in over the following days or weeks. Over a little time, it will gain in meaning for you and will help you make those life-altering choices about the work you plan to pursue.
